Tiger Phisique
Tigers are members of the cat family. Because they are mammals, they have four legs and fur. they also produce live babies. Male tigers can weigh 450 pounds and grow to 9 feet long! (with a 3-foot tail) their muscular legs allow them to jump very high, and their teeth are very strong so that they can clamp on to prey. their claws can also grab prey, and can even be used to climb trees, although tigers rarely do this. all tigers have orange eyes.
Tiger Stripes and fur
All tigers have stripes. A tiger's stripes are as different as human fingerprints. Tiger stripes are always black on all kinds of tigers. Tiger fur is very soft and fuzzy. Siberian tigers grow a shaggy coat when it is cold.

Reproduction
The tiger mating period is almost always late November through early April. Male tigers reach maturity at 5 years of age, females at 3 1/2. The male will begin making noises and the female will respond. Then they will find each other and rub and lick each other. a male may do this with several females provided that he is in good enough health. After conception, a female may remain pregnant for up to four months. Usually, two or three cubs are born at a time, and they are totally dependent on their mother as they are 2 pounds and blind. Sometimes, another male will kil the cubs, as this will make the female receptive again.
